Calculator inputs

Calculations run in your browser. We do not send your calculator inputs or results to our server or to Google Analytics. The site does not put those values in page addresses or automatically save them between visits. Your browser's own tab and session restoration features may retain page state. Copy result uses your browser's clipboard only when you choose it. You decide where to paste the copied inputs and result. No account is required. Avoid using sensitive information in error reports.

Hosting

Cloudflare hosts this website. When your browser requests a page, Cloudflare processes connection information, including your IP address, to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare may also process technical logs and network error reports under its own service policies; these do not include calculator input fields. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Preferences on this device

If you select Light or Dark, your theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage under calcpuffin-theme. Choosing System removes the saved theme preference. When optional analytics is available, your allow or decline choice is saved there for 180 days. These preferences do not contain calculator inputs. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics loads only after you choose Allow analytics. Declining leaves every calculator available. Use Privacy settings in the footer to change your choice or withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal stops further analytics collection in this browser and removes this site's Google Analytics cookies. It does not delete information already received by Google.

With your consent, Google Analytics receives page visits, session and device information, and an event when a calculation succeeds. The calculation event contains only the calculator's name and language edition. Page addresses exclude query strings and fragments; referring addresses are reduced to their website origin.

Google Analytics uses first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_D9GLYBEE1S to distinguish browsers. We configure them to expire after 180 days without extending their lifetime on each visit. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled. We do not use analytics for advertising.

We use analytics to understand which pages and calculators people use and to improve the site. Event-level retention is set to two months and user-level retention to 14 months. Google can renew user-data retention when a browser returns. Aggregated reports may be retained longer. These settings are separate from cookie expiry.

Google processes analytics data on its infrastructure, which may be outside your country. Read Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Advertising

This version does not load an advertising network.

Your choices and requests

Use Privacy settings to allow or decline analytics. This site does not automatically change that choice in response to a browser's Do Not Track signal.

To ask about access, correction or deletion of information we hold, email pervuhinvtb@gmail.com. We use privacy correspondence to respond to your request and keep it only as needed to handle that request and applicable recordkeeping obligations. We do not link analytics identifiers to email addresses, so an email address alone may not identify a particular analytics record.

Links and email

Source links take you to other websites with their own privacy practices. Emailing an error report sends the information you choose to include through your email provider and the project's Gmail mailbox. It is used to review the report and reply. Request deletion of an email you sent by contacting the same address.

Children

CalcPuffin is a general-purpose service and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us using the email above.

Changes to this notice

We will post changes on this page and update the date at the top. If we add a new optional purpose for collecting data, we will ask for a new choice before enabling it.
